| charrettes | meeting in which all stakeholders in a project attempt to resolve conflicts and map solutions |
| Charrette guiding principles | involve everyone from start, work concurrently and cross functionally, work in short feedback loops, work in detail |
| value engineering | owner engages in formal review of design with the goal of maximizing value of project while reducing construction cost |
