what is a zygote? The cell formed when an egg and sperm meet

what are homologous chromosomes? The matching chromosomes a person inherits from their mother and father
what is a genome? The complete set of genes in an organism
what is independent assortment? The random lining-up of homologous pairs at the cell’s middle
what is a somatic cells? Body cells (hair, skin, brain, bone, etc)
