Superior Vena Cava Returns blood to heart from upper body
Right atrium -receives deoxygenated blood from body tissues -covered by auricle
Coronary blood vessels provide oxygen to the heart itself
right ventricle receives deoxygenated blood from right atrium
inferior vena cava returns blood to heart from lower body
aorta takes oxygenated blood to body tissues
pulmonary artery carries deoxygenated blood to the lungs to pick up more oxygen
Left Atrium receives oxygenated blood from lungs covered by auricle
left ventricle receives oxygenated blood from left atrium
apex tip of the heart
right pulmonary vein brings oxygenated blood back to heart from lungs
Right AV Valve (Tricuspid) Held in place by chordae tendoneae
Septum separates oxygenated and deoxygenated blood
Left Pulmonary veins brings oxygenated blood back from lungs to heart
