| Addition Property of Inequality | If you add the same numbers to each side of an Inequality, the Inequality remains true. |
| Division Property of Inequality | If you divide each side of an equation by the same nonzero number, the two sides remain equal. |
| Inequality | An open sentence that uses <, >, not equal to, equal to or greater than, or equal to or less than to compare to 2 quantities. |
| Multiplication Property of Inequality | When you multiply each side of an Inequality by a negative number, the Inequality symbol must be reversed for the inequality to remain true. |
| Order of Operations | Rules to follow when more than one operation is used in a numerical expression 1. Evaluate the expression inside grouping symbols 2. Evaluate all powers 3. Multiply or divide in order from left to right 4. Add or subtract in order from left to right |
