Vid, vis - See, visual / Phon - Sound

Envision To picture mentally or imagine something in the future
Vision The ability to see
Visual Relating to sight or seeing
Vivid Producing powerful, clear images in the mind or having intense colors
Evident Clear or obvious to the sight or understanding
Provide To see ahead, to supply something that is needed
Visualize To make something seen in the mind or imagination
Visionary Someone with original ideas or dreams, often related to future insight
Invisible Something that cannot be seen
Supervise To look over or watch something closely
Phonetic Relating to speech sounds
Telephone A device that transmits sound over a distance
Microphone A device that captures sound
Phonograph An old device used to record and play sound (also known as a record player).
Cacophony A harsh, discordant mixture of sounds
Euphony A pleasant or harmonious sound
Symphony A complex, large-scale musical composition, typically for an orchestra, involving many sounds
Homophone Words that sound the same but have different meanings or spellings
Saxophone A musical instrument that produces sound
Phonics A method of teaching reading and pronunciation by correlating sounds with letters
