| Atom- | The basic building blocks of all matter |
| Element - | A pure subsatnce that cannot be broken down by chemical or physical means. |
| Compound- | A substance made of two or more elements chemically combined;represented by a chemical formula. |
| Mixture- | Two or more substances that are together in the same place but their atoms are not chemically bonded. |
| Pure Substances: | Matter that consists of only on type of atom,molecule,or compund. |
| Physical Property- | A characteristic of a substance that can be observed without changing it into another substance. |
| Solubility- | A measure of how well a subsatnce can dissolve into another substance. |
| Luster- | Shine or lack oof shine,dullness. |
| Malleable- | Property that allows metals to be made into sheets. |
