chorus the repeated section in a song that is usually the most memorable musical element that sticks with a listener
backing vocals vocal accompaniment that provides harmony and accompaniment to the singer
beat the pulse of music, you tap your foot and you dance to it
melody a succession of pitches with a rhythm
bass line double bass the low notes and rhythm created in a piece of music by an instrument that plays low notes, usually a bass guitar or
rhythm a strong regular repeated pattern of movement or sound that is used in music, poetry, and dancing
pitch the degree to which a sound or a musical note is high or low
tempo the speed at which a piece of music is played
timbre a quality of sound that makes voices or musical instruments sound different from each other
lyrics the words of a song, especially a pop song
accompaniment music that is played with someone who is singing or playing the main tune
solo a part in a piece of music played or sung by one person alone, or in which one part / instrument is given special attention
electronic music music based on sounds that are produced or modified through electronic means
acoustic music music that solely or primarily uses instruments that produce sound through acoustic means, as opposed to electric or electronic means.
dynamics degrees of loudness or softness in music, for example "p" means "piano" or soft and "f" means "forte" or loud
harmony Several chords played one after another which produce a progression
