What are the three rock types? -metamorphic - sedimentary - igneous
How are igneous rocks made? When magma cools down and solidifies.
How are metamorphic rocks made? When sedimentary or igneous rocks are put under immense pressure or heat underground
How are sedimentary rocks made? Sedimentary rocks are made when rocks form layers of sediment.
What are extrusive rocks? Igneous rocks that are made by volcanic eruptions
What are intrusive rocks? Igneous rocks that are formed underground are called intrusive rocks.
