Vocabulary Terms

Climate while weather describes the short terms conditions in an area climate is the long term weather pattern in an area.
Decrsibes specifically climate refers the average year after year conditions of temperature, percipatation, wind and clouds.
Greenhouse Gas certain gases in the atmosphere that absorb the heat leaving the earth's surface.
Greenhouse Effect is the process by which these gases trap heat keeping earth warm
Climate Change is a sudden or gradual change in the Earth's climate
Global Wamring This gradual increase in tempature
Fossil Fuels much of the greenhouse gasses come from humans burning fossil fueals
Impact variations in the tilt of the earths axis and the orbit of the sun occur at regular intervals and this can impact climate.
