1067 (Fixed Ladders) Metal parts of ladders shall be made of steel or equivalent strength; ladders exceeding 9 meters shall have landing platforms every 6 meters and required clearances observed.
1068 (Overhead Walks, Runways and Platforms) Elevated platforms 2 meters or more above ground shall be guarded by standard railings and toeboards; runways without one side railing shall not be less than 56 cm wide.
1069.01 (Surface) Plant yards shall be properly drained and graded; hazardous openings shall be covered or guarded.
1069.02 (Walkways) Walkways shall follow the shortest safe route and be protected where pedestrians are exposed to hazards.
1069.03 (Roadways) Roadways shall be properly constructed; two-way roads shall be twice the vehicle width plus 1.25 meters and grade crossings protected.
1069.04 (Gates) Separate gates shall be provided for pedestrian, vehicular, and railroad traffic and safely located.
1069.05 (Parking of Vehicles) Regulations for driveways, speed limits, space allotments, and parking methods shall be provided and enforced.
