What are waves? A disturbance that transfers energy.
What is a medium? Physical enviroment through which a disturbance can travel.
Whats the amplitude of a wave? Maxuimum displacement from eullibruim
What is the frequency? The number of cycles or viberations per unit of time.
What's a transverse wave? A wave whose particles vibrate perpendicular to the direction the wave is travling.
What's a compression wave? A wave whose particles vibrate parallel to the direction the wave is travleing.
What's the crest of a wave? The highest point on the wave
What's the trough of a wave? The lowest point on the wave
What waves does an earthquake make? seismic
