Be able to write out the 9 Fruits of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness, Self-Control
Love in action looks like what word? COMPASSION
Joy and happiness are different in what way? You can have joy, without happiness. Joy is not circumstantial, happiness often is. Joy is who you are, and happiness is how you may feel at times. They can be connected, but not always are.
When we are anxious, we should pray, which then brings us….. (which fruit?) PEACE
Grumbling against others looks like what? It’s the opposite of which fruit? Intentionally bringing others down, having a negative motivation. PATIENCE
Being kind to others often leads to them being what back to you? If you are kind to others, they will eventually want to be kind to you.
Describe “If possible, as far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” Do all that you can to make peace, and then leave the results up to God!
The ultimate expression of God’s faithfulness to us is….. By God sending Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.
The example of a mother and father, teach us what about gentleness? Mother: Caring Father: Truthful These two work together!
Self-Control helps us to overcome what? TEMPTATION!
