Bill of Rights

QuestionAnswer
First amendment Freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition.
Second amendment Right to bear arms (own weapons).
Third amendment Citizens do not have to allow soldier in their homes.
Fourth amendment Protects people from unreasonable searches, and seizures.
Fifth amendment Powers not granted to the federal government belong to the states and people.
Sixth amendment The right to a fair and speedy trail.
Seventh amendment Right to a trail by jury.
Eighth amendment Protects from unreasonable fines and cruel and unusual punishments.
Ninth amendment Not all rights are listed on the Constitution.
Tenth amendment Protects people from being tried for the same crime twice and protects you from self-incrimination.
