Who is the ultimate author of the Bible? God
How did God author the Bible? through inspiring and exercising authority over Man.
what is inspiration? God overseeing and directing man to work through man to write divine authoritative writings. (WOG)
What are humans? fallen finite, and in need of outside perspective to understand his own, and his purpose.
What is God's self revelation? It is a revelation from one transcendently outside the cosmos can provide the point of reference from knowledge, only God. Him revealing himself it self revelation.
How much do we know about God? We can only know what he has revealed to us about him. There's probably a lot more.
Who is the God revealed in the Bible? Self-contained, self-sufficient, everyhting that happens on heaven/earth is according to his eternal plan.
Where is God? he is all around us, nowhere can man turn and not be faced with The God of the Bible, and his plan.
What is inerrancy? scripture, as orginally given by God, contains no falsehood, mistake, or deception in everything taught
Why is the Word Infalliable? Bc he is omniscient, and morally perfect, he cant lie or have error.
What is the story of the Bible? God redeems a people out of fallen humanity for himself through--> the person/work of Jesus on the Cross to his own Glory. its the testimony of God's good news.
How does Jesus affirm authority of Scripture? He submitted to WOG, considered OT to be reliable, Understood his life was fulfilment of OT, and the OT talked about him
How are the authority of writings of Apostles in NT verified? Jesus promised HS, HS taught them all things, HS brought remembrance, guided them into all truth. And all things to come
