| 4th Amendment | Protects against unreasonable searches and seizures. |
| 5th Amendment | a shield that protects you from being treated unfairly by the government. |
| 6th Amendment | guarantees a fair and fast criminal trial, ensuring the accused know the charges, can have a lawyer, and face an impartial jury. |
| 7th Amendment | your right to have a jury of regular people, and decide the outcome of a non criminal civil lawsuit in court. |
| 8th Amendment | Ensures that the government treats people fairly. |
| 9th Amendment | Rights not listed in the Constitution and can not be violated by the government. |
| 10th Amendment | a specific power isn't explicitly given to the federal government in the Constitution, it automatically belongs to the people. |
