Blood-borne Pathogen germ in the blood that can make people sick.
Universal Precautions safety measures that healthcare workers use to prevent contact with blood and body fluids that might carry infections.
Brachiocephalic Vein vein in the upper chest that carries blood from the head, neck, and arms back to the heart.
Subclavian Vein vein located under the collarbone (clavicle) that carries blood from the arms back to the heart.
Axillary Vein arge vein in the armpit (axilla) that carries blood from the arm back toward the heart
Greater Cephalic Vein large vein in the arm that carries blood from the hand and forearm toward the shoulder.
Median Cubital Vein front of the elbow that connects the cephalic vein and the basilic vein.
Basilic Vein inner (medial) side of the arm that carries blood from the hand and forearm toward the shoulder.
