| Acute Angle | Angle that measures greater than 0 degrees but less than 90 degrees |
| Obtuse Angle | Angle that measures greater than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees |
| Right Angle | An angle that measures exactly 90 degrees |
| Straight Angle | An angle that measures exactly 180 degrees |
| Complementary Angles | Two angles whose sum is exactly 90 degrees |
| Supplementary Angles | Two angles whose sum is exactly 180 degrees |
| Adjacent Angles | Two angles that share a common side and vertex |
| Vertical Angles | Angles that are opposite from each other when formed by intersecting lines, equal to each other |
| Congruent | Equal in measure |
| Bisect | Cut in half |
| Parallel Lines | Never intersect each other |
| Transversal | A line that cuts through 2 or more lines |
| Corresponding | Angles that are in the same "position" |
| Alternate Interior | Inside the parallel lines on opposite sides of the transversal |
| Alternate Exterior | Outside that parallel lines on opposite sides of the transversal |
