Describe God He describes himself as One. “I am the Lord; there is no other.” Merciful, gracious, slow to anger, loving, forgiving and righteous.
Bible verse: For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5
Describe God’s physical being God is immortal, all powerful, he dwells in heaven, but is also everywhere all at once. He is all-wise.
Creation God created the Earth in six days, and on the seventh, he rested.
Proving creation Jesus believed in Creation Mark 10:6
What is God’s purpose with Earth? All the Earth to be filled with the Glory of the Lord.
The Creation of Man (Describe how God created Man) God made man in his image, physical shape, mental capacity. Created from dust. They were not immortal; they were “very good”. Mortality only came as a result of sin.
Describe the temptation of Eve. How did it take place? Lust of the flesh, Lust of the eyes, Pride of Life.
Why did God reject the fig leaves as a covering for Adam and Eve after they sinned? This was the way Adam and Eve (being humans) fixed the problem of their nakedness/sin. Son could only be covered by the shedding of blood. God provided them with such a covering.
Explain the covenant in Eden God would put enmity between the snake (sin) and the woman (and her seed). “It shall bruise thy head and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
