Artillery Cannons and large guns.
Foreshadowing the use of hints and clues to suggest what will happen later in a plot
Generalization A conclusion drawn that is used to make a broad statement about a topic or person
Internal Conflict A struggle between opposing needs, desires, or emotions within a single character
Islam A religion based on the teachings of the prophet Mohammed which stresses belief in one god (Allah), Paradise and Hell, and a body of law written in the Quran. Followers are called Muslims.
Peculiar strange or odd; unusual
Mortar An indirect fire weapon that fires explosive projectiles known as (mortar) bombs
Relentless continuous; unstoppable
Ritual a ceremonial act; a customary procedure
