Third Person Limited third person limited - The narrator focuses on one person or thing.
Third Person Omniscient third person omniscient - The narrator talks about everybody or everything.

transitional phrase/transition transitional phrase -a word or group of words that birdges to ideas in writing
central theme central theme -overarching lesson or idea of a text
central idea central idea - main idea of a text
revision/revised revision - the action of revising.
formal tone vs informal tone Formal tone - is objective, professional, and impersonal, characterized by complex sentences, with no contractions. Informal tone - is subjective, casual, and conversational, using personal pronouns, contractions, and everyday language.
concise vs precise Concise- straight to the point Precise - short and quick
objective summary objective summary -concise version or compilation of a text without opinion
conclusion conclusion -the end or finish of an event or process.
claim vs counter-claim claim - A claim is the main argument, position, or thesis an author or speaker wants the audience to accept. A counterclaim is the opposing viewpoint that challenges, disagrees with, or refutes that initial claim.
perspective perspective - a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view.
point of view point of view -the perspective which through which a story is told or information is presented, determining who is narrating and how the audience experiences events.
primary purpose primary purpose -the main reason, intent, or objective behind an action, policy, or object.
relevant vs irrelevant relevant - applicable irrelevant- non - applicable
primary or primarily primary - the main or first
connotation connotation - emotion or idea that goes along with the meaning of the word
emphasis emphasis - speical importance, value, or prominence given to something
contribute contribute- to help to cause or bring abou
inference inference - a conclusion reached on the basis of evidence and reasoning
allusion allusion - an expression designed to call something to mind without mentioning it explicitly; an indirect or passing reference.
analogy analogy - a literary device that compares two distinct, often unrelated, concepts, objects, or situations to highlight their shared characteristics or relationships.
omit/omission omit -to leave something out
antonym antonym - the opposite
synonym synonym - the same
interrogative interrogative - question
indicative indicative - statement
subjunctive subjunctive - a wish
imperative imperative - a command
conditional conditional - under certain conditions, something could happen
maintain focus maintain focus - keep one's attention
acknowledge an opposing viewpoint acknowledge an opposing viewpoint - neutrally identifying a counterargument and demonstrating and understanding of different perspectives.
active active - the subject is actively doing something
passive passive - something is happening to the subject
convey convey - to communicate in a way that helps you understand what something means
