KAP Vocabulary

TermDefinition
third person limited narrator;focuses on one character; only follows one characters thoughts

concise/precise concise means straight to the point but precise means exact
conclusion end or inference
claim vs. counterclaim claim = argument counterclaim = opposing viewpoint
perspective your opinion or interpertaion
point of view who is telling the story
primary purpose the main reason it was written
relevant vs. irrelevant relevant - applicable, applies irrelevant - not applicable, random
primary or primarily the main reason
connotation the emotion or the idea that goes along with the meaning of the word.
emphasis special importance, value, or prominence given something
contribute to help to cause, to bring about
inference a conclusion reached on the basis of evidence and reasoning
