Waves

The study of waves and their porperties

wave A wave is a disturbance that transfers energy from one place to another without transferring matter.
mechanical wave A mechanical wave is a wave that travels only through matter. mechanical wave can travel through solids, liquids, andgases, but not through a vacuum.
medium Transverse Waves Two types of mechanical wave are transverse waves and longitudinal waves.
