| Midsegment | A segment that connects TWO MIDPOINTS of two side sides of a triangle |
| Altitude | A segment, ray, or line that goes through a VERTEX of a triangle and is PERPENDICULAR to the opposite side (or a line that contains the opposite side) - also known as the HEIGHT of a triangle |
