Net force Is the sum of all the forces acting on an object.
Friction Is a force that resist the sliding motion of two surfaces that are touching .
Force Is a push or a pull on an object.
Acceleration Is a measure of the change in velocity during a period of time.
Contact-Force Is a push or a pull on one object by another object that is touching it.
Free-Body Diagram It is a simple model to understand system of objects with any amount of applied forces.
Newton's 2nd Law States that the acceleration of an object equals the net force on the object divided by the object's mass.
Net Force Is the sum of all the forces acting on an object.
Newton's 1st Law This means objects resist changes to their state of motion.
