stamen (anther filament) male part
the end result produces 4 not identical diploid 1n cells
only reason for meiosis is to produce gametes
sexual reproduction involes 2 parents
when egg and sperm combine fertilization
the cell that results from combination of egg and sperm is called and is cell zygote diploid 2n
