what are the prevailing westerlies? winds that flow from west to east at 30degreese north and 30 south.
what is a hight pressure system and what does it bring? air sinking that makes it difficult for clouds to form allowing clear weather.
what is a low pressure system and what does it bring? it is the rising warm air that brings clouds and precipitation.
what is climate? how is climate and weather related? climate is long term weather conditions.
how is climate determined? average temperatures kinds of plants and mounts of precipitaton.
describe climate in your area it gets about 90 degrees in the summer every year.
what is weather? day to day atmospheric conditions.
rain shadowing an area of low rain fall on the down hill side of a mountain.
how is glowbal warming determined? its the measurement of Earth's temputure over the the last 100 years.
what does a cold front bring? intense precipitation and thunderstorms.
what does a warm front bring? long steady rain and rain showers.
what causes the rise of sea level? melting sheets of ice.
what happens to Earth's solar energy? it can reflect back to space obsorb in the atmosphere land and water.
which has more constant temputures? costal cities or inland cities.
what causes wind? the movement air from areas of high pressure of areas of low pressure.
what does wind course. surface currents.
