Plant Response to the Environment

chlorophyll captures energy from the sunlight to make leaves green
spring trees sense more sunlight and grow flowers
summer there is the most sunlight and trees grow a lot of leaves
fall leaves start to change color and fall off the trees because there is not as much sunlight
winter trees have little or no leaves because there is the least amount of sunlight
