microsurgery Surgery done on very small parts of the body using special tools.
microbe A tiny living thing, like bacteria, that you can’t see without a microscope.
megaphone A cone-shaped tool that makes your voice louder.
megalopolis A very large area made up of many cities grown together.
megabyte A unit used to measure computer data or storage.
megadose An extremely large amount of medicine or vitamins.
megahit Something that becomes extremely popular or successful.
supermarket A large store that sells food and everyday items.
superhero A character with special powers who helps people and fights evil.
superhighway A very wide road built for fast travel, like a freeway.
superhuman Having abilities stronger or better than a normal human’s.
superstar A person who is extremely famous and talented.
superego The part of your mind that helps you know right from wrong.
superpower A special ability that normal people do not have.
hyperactive Having too much energy and trouble sitting still.
hyperventilate To breathe very fast, often because of fear or stress.
hyperbole A big exaggeration that is not meant to be taken literally.
hypercritical Finding too many faults and being overly negative.
hypersensitive Getting upset or reacting strongly to small things.
