WordDefinitionContext
NERVOUSNESS the feeling of being anxious or worried about something. The butterflies in your stomach, heart racing, sweaty hands… are all signs of nervousness.
EXCITEMENT a feeling of great enthusiasm or eagerness. Half of what we feel is actually excitement, not nervousness.
UNHEALTHY harmful to mental or physical health. Nervousness becomes unhealthy if it stops us from moving forward.
OPPORTUNITIES chances to do something that may be beneficial. Nervousness becomes unhealthy if it stops us from moving forward or makes us miss great opportunities.
HESITATED paused or delayed because of uncertainty. I remember one great opportunity I hesitated to take.
BLAMED felt or expressed responsibility for a fault or mistake. I blamed myself for months because I did not try.
RESILIENT able to recover quickly from difficulties. You can use it as a lesson to become stronger and more resilient for the next one.
CONFIDENCE belief in your own abilities. The more you try, the more your confidence grows.
INITIATIVE the ability to take action without being told. Try new things, and show initiative, like talking to someone new.
COMFORT ZONE a situation where one feels safe and relaxed. Take the first step out of your comfort zone.
