Paternalism Interfering with a person’s autonomy for their perceived benefit.
Consequentialism Ethical reasoning based on the outcomes or consequences of actions.
Code of Ethics A set of professional standards that guide ethical nursing practice.
Advocacy Acting to protect the rights, health, and safety of patients.
Accountability Being responsible for one’s actions and nursing practice.
