What is an Albedo? the reflectivity of the surface light colors have a higher Albedo, dark have a lower Albedo.
What is solar radiation? received highest concentration at the equator and causes higher temperature, then it spreads out and makes the temperature colder.
what is Land/sea breeze? land is heating and cools faster than waters which causes sea breezes.
what is the carolis effect? the movement of air caused by the Earth's rotation
What are the prevailing westerlies? The wind located 30 degrees and 60 degrees north and south and west to east, in north America
What are the polar easterlies? cold winds that go south to west.
What are trade winds? steady winds that go from east to west and that is 30 degrees north by 60 degrees south latitude.
What is a high pressure system? where the air masses sink making it difficult for clouds to form allowing for clear weather.
What is the low pressure system? its associated with the rising of air that brings clouds and precipitation.
What is climate? The long term weather conditions determined the amount of precipitation average temp.
What is weather? The day to day atmospheric condition.
What is rain shadowing? The rain going up is gonna dry.
What is global warming? An increase of Earth's temperature over the past 100 years.
what is a cold front? intense precipitation, thunderstorms
What is a warm front? long steady rain, rainshowers.
What is the rise of sea level? As the earth receives energy, it can reflect back into space, absorb water, Land, and atmosphere
