Metamorphosis Physical change of a young insect to an adult.
Chrysalis Protective capsule.
Pupa Stage in metamorphosis during which a young insect becomes an adult.
Nymph Young insect that looks like a small wingless adult.
Caste Role played by an individual insect in a colony.
Nauplius Larval from off a crustacean.
Krill Small marine crustaceans.
