QuestionAnswer
Non-fiction noun-a type of writing that is based on real events and real people.
Central Idea noun-the main message a writer wants readers to understand from a text.
Memoir noun-a form of narrative writing, written from the perspective of the author, about an important time in their life.
Thesis (statement) noun-a sentence in the introduction of an essay that states the writer's position or opinion on the topic of the essay.
Autobiography noun-a written account about someone's life written by themselves.
Biography noun-a written account about someone's life written by another author.
Controversy noun-a public debate or dispute concerning a matter of opinion.
Controversial adjective-an issue that is debatable, or an issue about which there can be disagreement.
Argument noun-a set of reasons given with the aim of persuading others that an action or idea is right or wrong.
Argumentation noun-the act of formally engaging in an argument about a debatable issue.
