Constant A term that does not contain a variable
Factor To write a number as a product of its factors
Greatest common factor The greatest monomial that is a factor of both monomials the greatest common factor includes variables
Like terms Terms that contain the same variables raised to the same power
linear expressions An algebratic expression in which the variable is rasised to the first power variables are neither multiplyed or divided
monomial A number, variable, or product of a number and one or more variables
simplelest form An expression is in simpilest form when it is replaced by an equivenlent expression having no like terms or parentheses
term A number, a variable or quotient of numbers and vaariables.
variable A symbol usally a letter, used to represent a numer in mathematical expressions or sentences
coefficient the number factor of a term that contains a variable
factored form An expression expressed as the product of its factors
