| Model | A pretend version of something that scientists use when the real thing is to big , small, or complicated to work with |
| Dissolve | When one substance mixes with another and it looks like it disappears, such as when sugar mixes into tea |
| Solution | A special kind of mixture where you cannot tell the different parts from each other |
| Particle | A very ting thing, sometimes too small to be seen |
| Evidence | Information that can be used to support or reject an idea |
| Chemical Reaction | A process where one or more substances form a new substance |
| Acid | A substance that is usually sour, such as vinegar or orange juice |
| Observe | To pay close attention to something |
| Substance | A material that has a specific properties |
| Property | Something you can observe about an object or material |
| Invent | To create something new, often an object or a way of doing something |
| Explosion | When something bursts outwards |
| Carbon Dioxide | A type of gas that plants sometimes take in and that animals release when they breathe |
