What about the door made Jonas uncomfortable? It was locked, but doors are normally unlocked all the time.
What memory did the old man share with Jonas? Going down a hill on a sled.
Why was it exhausting for the old man to share the memory? He took a long time to remember it.
Why did weather become obsolete? Crops always perished in the extreme weather.
Now that Jonas is the receiver, what does the old man want to be called? The Giver
what feeling did Jonas awake with the next morning? He had the feeling of welcoming of what was yet to come next.
Why was it easy for Jonas to sit and listen while everyone was explaining their first day of training? Because he is a receiver, he can't talk about his training. Not having to explain his training made it easy.
Why was Jonas a minute late to his training? He saw Fiona's hair change to red.
Describe the change that Jonas we experiencing. He is starting to see the color red.
