Biology The study of living things. Biology helps us learn how plants, animals, and humans grow and survive.
Bibliophile A person who loves reading books. My aunt is a bibliophile who always has a book with her.
Biodegradable Able to break down naturally without harming the environment. The biodegradable bag decomposes faster than plastic.
Philadelphia A large city in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia is famous for the Liberty Bell.
Photosynthesis The process plants use to make food using sunlight. Photosynthesis allows plants to turn sunlight into energy.
Philanthropist A person who gives money or help to others. The philanthropist donated books to the school library.
Photon A tiny particle of light. A photon carries energy from the sun to Earth.
Philosophy The study of ideas about life, knowledge, and truth. In philosophy class, we discussed what it means to be fair.
Photography The art of taking pictures. She enjoys photography and takes pictures of nature.
Bibliophile A person who loves reading books. The bibliophile spent hours reading at the library.
