| Power | control, authority, or influence over others |
| Position Power | Position Power rank, title, or role within an organization’s hierarchy |
| Reward Power | a form of positional power where leaders influence employee behavior by providing, or promising, tangible and intangible incentives |
| Expert Power | a form of personal influence stemming from an individual’s superior knowledge, skills, or experience |
| Identity Power | ability to influence others based on their identity with the person |
| Leadership Style | the manner and approach of providing direction, implementing plans, and motivating people to accomplish a task |
| Initiative | the power or opportunity to act or take charge before others do |
| Human Relations | involves the study of interpersonal interactions, focusing on improving social bonds, communication, and, in business |
| Integrity | the firm, consistent adherence to a strict moral or ethical code, representing wholeness of character, honesty, and accountability |
| Autocratic Leadership | one person controls all the decisions and takes very little inputs from other group members |
| Democratic Leadership | collaborative style where leaders involve team members in decision-making, encouraging diverse input, innovation, and shared responsibility while retaining the final say |
| Free-rein Leadership | a hands-off management style where leaders provide minimal direction, allowing highly skilled team members to make decisions, foster innovation, and manage their own work |
| Delegate | entrust a task or responsibility to another person, typically one who is less senior than oneself |
| Self-managed teams | a group of employees empowered to plan, organize, and execute their work autonomously |
| Open Leader | having the confidence and humility to give up the need to be in control while inspiring commitment from people to accomplish goals |
| Situational Leader | A situational leader adapts their management style |
