| Banksman / Traffic Marshall | Directs the movement of vehicles and plant machinery on or near a site. |
| Construction Labourer | Performs general tasks such as clearing debris, unloading materials, and assisting skilled trades |
| Scaffolder | Erects temporary structures to allow workers to reach high areas safely. |
| Bricklayer | Builds walls, chimneys, and other structures using bricks or stone blocks. |
| Plumber | Installs and repairs piping systems for water, drainage, and heating. |
| Electrician | Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems and wiring. |
| Carpenter / Joiner | Builds and installs wooden structures, including frames, staircases, and cabinets |
| Building Inspector | Verifies that construction work meets local building codes and safety regulations. |
| Structural Engineer | Focuses on the structural integrity of a building to ensure it can withstand stresses and pressures |
| Civil Engineer | Plans and designs large infrastructure projects like roads, bridges, and airports. |
| Architect | Creates the visual and technical designs for buildings and structures. |
| Foreman | A hands-on supervisor who leads a specific crew of tradespeople and monitors daily productivity. |
| Site Manager / Site Supervisor | Manages the day-to-day operations on the physical site, supervising crews and coordinating material deliveries. |
| Construction Manager | Responsible for the overall organisation, planning, and scheduling of a build to ensure it stays on time and within budget. |
| Quantity Surveyor | Manages all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. |
| Safety Manager | Ensures the site complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations to prevent injuries. |
