Prophase 1st phase in cell division where chromosomes start to condense and become visible getting ready to divide.
Interphase When the cell is getting ready to divide
Cytokinesis final step in cell division when the cell physically splits into two separate cells
Metaphase When all chromosomes line up in the middle of the cell, ready to separate.
Telophase final phase of mitosis. Chromosomes uncoil and return to their thread like form.
Anuphase When sister chromosomes separate and move to opposite sides of the cell.
