Hematoma Reddened, swollen area in which blood collects under the skin
Hemocentration Increase in the ratio of formed elements to plasma usually caused by leaving the tourniquet on too long

petechiae A small red spot appearing on skin that is caused by a tourniquet that is too tight
requisition Form specifying which tests must be run or which samples to collect
