WordDefinitionContext
REGULATES controls or manages how something works. it not only controls your other organs, regulates pleasure and pain, hunger and thirst, blood pressure and body temperature
IDENTITY who a person is, including their personality, thoughts, and feelings it also plays a huge part in determining your personal identity through thoughts, memories and emotions.
COMPLEX having many parts and difficult to understand. the brain is far superior and far more complex.
HEMISPHERE one half of a sphere or round object, especially the brain the left hemisphere and the right hemisphere.
CORPUS CALLOSUM a group of nerve fibres that connects the two halves of the brain. Information and instructions pass from one side of the brain to the other through the corpus callosum
NERVE FIBRES long thin parts of nerve cells that carry messages. about 200–250 million nerve fibres.
ANALYSIS the detailed study of something to understand it better. The left side is more related to logic and analysis.
IMAGINATIVE having the ability to create new ideas or images The right is usually considered more creative and imaginative.
DOMINANT more powerful or important than others the right side of their brain is dominant
NEURONS nerve cells that send and receive messages in the brain. by creating connections or pathways (synapses) between brain cells (neurons).
