PID Infection of the female reproductive organs
Skene’s glands Glands near the urethra
GYN Gynecology: (medical specialty of the female reproductive system)
HPV Human papillomavirus: virus that can infect the reproductive tract
LMP Last menstrual period: (the first day of the most recent period)
Pap Papanicolaou test: pap smear (screening test for cervical cancer)
Fallopian tubes Tubes that carry the egg from ovary to uterus
IVF Fertilization of an egg outside the body
STI sexually transmitted infection
