Mass The amount of matter (stuff) in an object
Volume The amount of space an object takes up
Density How much mass is into a certain amount of volume
Matter Anything that has mass and takes up space
Mixture A combination of two or more substances
Solution When a solute dissolves in a solvent
Solute The substance that dissolves in a solution
Solvent The substance that does the dissolving in a solution
Evaporation Liquid water turns into a gas called water vapor (heat)
Condensation Water vapor turn into liquid gas (cools)
Property Size, color, texture, shape, mass
Concentration The measuring of how much solute is in a given amount of solvent
Concentrated A high amount of solute, and a low amount of water
Diluted When a solution is watered down (a lot of the solvent, and a little bit of the solute)
Saturated When no more solute can dissolve in a solution
Precipitate A solid that forms from a liquid solution
Reactant One of the substances used in a solution to make the product
Product The substance formed as a result of a chemical reaction
