burden noun A difficult or worrying responsibility or duty, a heavy hardship that weighs on the bearer
carnage noun widespread destruction, slaughter, or massacre
concept noun a specific thought or notion
despite preposition regardless of something, notwithstanding (similar meaning to “even though”)
ecstatic adjective showing or feeling great pleasure or delight (as in a state of ecstasy)
grief noun great sadness or sorrow
horde noun a large group of people (a mob or crowd)
immobilize verb to stop in place, or disable movement.
inflict verb to cause damage, harm, or unpleasantness, to somebody or something
luminous adjective bright or shining, having a glowing effect (as if to give off light)
optimistic adjective tending to take a hopeful and positive view of future outcomes. Looking on the bright side of things.
precise adjective exact or specifically detailed
