| humidity | is the amount of water vapor present in the air, warm air can hold more of it then cold air |
| air pressure | is the force of the atmosphere pushing down on earths surface and is measured with a barometer |
| air masses | large bodies of air with similar temperature and humidity |
| jet stream | is a fast-moving band of wind high in earths atmosphere that influences weather patterns |
