| adhesion | the action or process of adhering to a surface or object. |
| property | an attribute, quality, or characteristic of something. |
| polarity | the property of having poles or being polar. |
| transfer | move from one place to another. |
| energy | power derived from the utilization of physical or chemical resources |
| atmosphere | the envelope of gases surrounding the earth or another planet. |
| hydrosphere | mass of all water on earth |
| climate | the weather conditions prevailing in an area in general or over a long period. |
| convection | the transfer of heat throughout a substance, circulating |
| freeze | be turned into ice or another solid as a result of extreme cold. |
| dissolve | become or cause to become incorporated into a liquid so as to form a solution. |
| specific heat capacity | the amount of thermal energy needed to raise the temperature of an object. |
