Colour Assosiations

Colour Associations in English Language

ColourAssociation
PURPLE: Associations: Royalty, Luxury, Wisdom, Magic. Note: Historically associated with power because the dye was expensive to produce
RED: Associations: Passion, Danger, Anger, Love. Note: It captures attention quickly (e.g., stop signs).
BLUE: Associations: Calm, Trust, Stability, Sadness (feeling "blue"). Note: Often used by banks and businesses to show reliability.
GREEN: Associations:** Nature, Growth, Health, Envy, Luck. * **Note:** Represents new beginnings.
YELLOW: Associations: Happiness, Energy, Optimism, Cowardice. Note: In English, calling someone "yellow" means they are a coward.
BLACK: Associations: Power, Elegance, Death, Mystery Note: Often worn to look formal or sophisticated.
WHITE: Associations:** Purity, Innocence, Peace, Cleanliness.Note:** The traditional colour of weddings in Western culture.
