If a numeral appears before a larger one its adding. VX=5+10=15
If a smaller numeral appears after a larger one its subtracting. Lx=50-10=40
Do not repeat numerals more than 3 times in a row. XXX=10+10+10=30 XXx=10+20=30
When a smaller numeral in between big numerals subtract then add LVX=50+5-10=50+5=55
Leave the same if next digit is less than 5 (rounding down) Round 74 to the nearest tenth=70
Increase by 1 if next digit is 5 or more (rounding up) Round 8.375 to the nearest whole number=9
AM gets "0" or stays the same if its double digits 9:25 am=09:25 am 11:35am=11:35am
Pm gets 12 added to the hours as the minutes stays the same 2:15pm=14:15 pm 4:45pm=16:45pm
