| MORTGAGOR | the party borrowing the money |
| MORTGAGE | a conditional conveyance of realty designed to be security for the payment of money and which "dies" upon full payment; a debt;a pledge |
| AD NAUSEAM | to the point of sickness |
| NISI | unless; conditional |
| NOLLE PROSEQUI | unwilling to puruse; an entry in the record denoting that the plaintiff or prosecution will proceed no further on part or all of the case |
| NON SEQUITUR | an inference that does not follow the premise |
| NON SUI JURIS | a person incapable of being sued |
| NONSUIT | a judgment against the plaintiff for failure to prove his or her case for a failure to appear at time of trial |
